MOOSE
Our guiding area has some of the best Moose habitat in British Columbia and our success rate over the years can assure you of this. A lot of hunting successes are utilizing the many tree stands we have located on the swamps, meadows and poplar hillsides that abound. Hunting is done on foot, boats, 4 X 4’s, jeeps and ATV’s. We try to accommodate each hunter’s personal preference and physical being. We offer 8-day Moose hunts from Sept. 10 to Nov. 15. We pride ourselves on the field dressing of your animals and have received many complimentary comments from meat cutters afar as to how clean the meat is.
BLACK BEAR
We also have a very healthy population of Black Bear. We have excellent success using the “spot & stalk” hunting method. We offer 8-day fall Moose/Black Bear combination hunts from Sept. 10-Nov.15 and 6-day spring Black Bear hunts from May 15 to June 15.
GRIZZLY BEAR
Our Grizzly population has been growing over the years. We have excellent grizzly habitat with many areas full of their favorite food, the “huckleberry”. We have beautiful color phased bears in this area. We offer a fall 10-day Grizzly hunt which you can combine with a Moose, Black Bear or both.
MT. GOAT
We have 2 different areas for Mt. Goat. We offer an 8-day fly-in Mt. Goat hunt or an 8-day fly-in Mt. Goat/Moose hunt. This area requires a person to be in reasonably good physical condition. Hunting is done by backpacking into the high country, staying a night or 2 on top of a beautiful mountain where you can see for miles.
We offer 6 , 7 and 8 day Mt. Goat or Mt. Goat/Moose combo hunts accessible from our drive in camp. This area is also a back pack hunt, with staying on the mountain for 1 or 2 nights. This hunt is not quite as physically challenging as the fly-in hunt as you can drive part way.
